Two weeks ago, the world was shocked to learn that legendary musician Prince, born Prince Rogers Nelson, had passed away at the young age of 57. While the Sheriff's Office later released details behind the untimely death, no cause of death has been confirmed at this time. As the world awaits word of what actually killed the singer, another musician claims to know the culprit behind his passing. In a statement on her official Facebook page, which has not yet been deleted, singer/songwriter Sinead O'Connor is firmly pointing the finger at talk show host Arsenio Hall. She had this to say, claiming she's reported the comedian to the Carver County Sherrif's office.

"Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades.... Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince's and Eddie Murphy's bitch) Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Arsenio I've reported you to the Carver County Sherrif's office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie murphy's house. You best get tidying your man cave."

Sinead O'Connor has long had a tempestuous relationship with Prince Rogers Nelson. And now she is making some very bold accusations against Arsenio Hall, even attacking his character and claiming that he slipped her drugs years ago. At this time, Arsenio himself has not made a statement about these allegations. Though, his Press Representative Traci Harper did release this brief comment to People Magazine.

"The statement regarding Arsenio Hall is absolutely false, ridiculous and absurd."

Sinead O'Connor is perhaps best known for her hit single 'Nothing Compares 2 U', which was written by Prince. Though, the singer produced the cover without Prince's involvement. Reports claim that O'Connor was later summed to the estate of Rogers Nelson, where the two became egged in a heated argument that is rumored to have turned physical.

At this time, many of the circumstances surrounding the late musician's death remain a mystery. It isn't known when a full detailed report about the cause of death will be released to the public. Here is the official statement from the Carver County Sheriff's office.

"Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson reports that on April 21, 2016, at about 9:43 am, sheriff's deputies responded to a medical call at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen. When deputies and medical personnel arrived, they found an unresponsive adult male in the elevator. First responders attempted to provide lifesaving CPR, but were unable to revive the victim. He was pronounced deceased at 10:07 am. He has been identified as Prince Rogers Nelson (57) of Chanhassen. The Carver County Sheriff's Office, with the assistance of the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office and The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office, are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death."

The statement was released three hours after the musician's death. The initial reports suggested that no foul play was suspected, and the singer had recently cancelled two concert dates due to health concerns. Prince's private jet also made an emergency landing in Illinois last Friday, and the singer's representatives had stated that he was battling the flu. There isn't any new details to report. And it isn't known when a full autopsy will be released.
