The Weinstein Company had planned on moving their popular show Project Runway from Bravo to the Lifetime Channel after this season. But now, according to Variety, a New York judge has granted a preliminary injunction to bar the Weinstein’s from moving the series from it original home.

The official statement reads, "The overwhelming evidence demonstrated that The Weinstein Company violated NBC Universal's right of first refusal to future cycles of Project Runway. After hearing all of the evidence, the court issued an order prohibiting The Weinstein Company from taking the show or any spinoff to Lifetime."

Bravo filed the injunction request in May, shortly after the Weinsteins announced a $150 million deal to bring the hit reality series to Lifetime. Lifetime was to debut the sixth season of the show in November, but now that date has been pushed back to January, or until this injunction can be worked out.
