Director Ridley Scott's Prometheus hit theaters this weekend, opening with an impressive $50 million over its first three days. During the months leading up to its release, we reported several times on this sci-fi thriller's viral campaign, which is still alive and kicking. Fans who stayed until the very end of the credits saw this cryptic image, with the website

Weyland Industries Prometheus

The timeline notes that October 11, 2012 (10/11/12) was the date Weyland Industries was set up as a corporation. It was also discovered that date leads to a brand new viral website, That site features a description of the Friedrich Nietzsche book Thus Spoke Zarathrustra: A Book for All and None, and a video of Guy Pearce's Peter Weyland reciting from the book, "I am a law only for my kind, I am no law for all." Take a look at the brief video and a description of the book from this viral site.

"Thus Spoke Zarathustra: A Book for All and None is a philosophical novel by German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, composed in four parts between 1883 and 1885. Much of the work deals with ideas such as the "eternal recurrence of the same", the parable on the "death of God", and the "prophecy" of the Übermensch, which were first introduced in The Gay Science."

We aren't quite sure what the connection is between this philosophical book and the sci-fi thriller, or what the date 10/11/12 means. October 11, 2012 very well could be when Prometheus is released on Blu-ray and DVD, although that has not been confirmed. That date is also the first day of New York Comic-Con.
