It took one romantic comedy to outdo another on the home video charts this week. P.S. I Love You took the top spot in both the DVD sales and rental charts for the week ending May 11. It overtook the previous week's winner in both charts, 27 Dresses, which fell to second place in both categories.

The only other notable new release this week was the Ice Cube comedy First Sunday, which took third place in both charts. Holdover The Golden Compass dropped to fourth place in sales and rentals.

On the rental side, P.S. I Love You captured $7.2 million in rental revenue, while 27 Dresses took in $6.1 million and First Sunday earned $5.6 million in rentals.

Twister was the top-selling Blu-Ray disc, with The Golden Compass in second place and P.S. I Love You in third place.
