MTV has confirmed that the reality series Punk'd will be returning to the network, although it is not known who will host the show. Series creators Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg are on board as executive producers, but Ashton Kutcher will not be hosting since he is still shooting this current season of Two and a Half Men.

The network is said to announce the host of Punk'd during its New Year's Eve celebration on December 31. Back in October 2010, we reported that pop star Justin Bieber was set to host this new version of Punk'd, although we haven't heard anything regarding his involvement on the show since then. This new report reveals the network may employ different celebrity hosts for each episode of the show, although that hasn't been confirmed yet.

Punk'd ran from 2003 to 2007, and featured host Ashton Kutcher and his team devising elaborate pranks for celebrities, all of which was caught on hidden camera. It isn't known when production will begin on this new version of Punk'd, or when it may debut on MTV.
