Quentin Tarantino is reteaming with Weinstein Co. for his new screenplay Inglorious Bastards, which has set an October shoot.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the latest project by this writer-director is a long-gestating World War II action tale about a "Dirty Dozen"-like group of soldiers behind enemy lines.

Production will film in Europe starting in October and is looking toward an accelerated production schedule so that it can be finished in time to submit to May's Festival de Cannes.
