Who would have thought that a Shakespearean-esque dramedy about a multi-billionaire family battling over the role of CEO for the family company would be such a successful plot for a series Well, Succession's creator Jesse Armstrong, apparently.

Since its first season, the HBO series has been a success between viewers and critics. After only three seasons, the Roy family, their family dramas, and hateful but lovable members already occupied their seats as pop culture titans. Succession is also one of the most Emmy Award-winning TV series.

The bombastic season three finale saw Logan Roy (Brian Cox) announce that his children would not long have company control after the renegotiation of Logan's divorce with his ex-wife and Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook), and Roman's (Kieran Culkin) mother, Caroline (guest star Harriet Walter). There are a lot of questions that were left hanging, making the audience anxious for more (and, as a fact, Succession knows how to make a great hook).

So, let's look at the questions that we hope that Succession season four will answer!

What We Know About Season 4 So Far

First, let's see what we already know about Succession season four. The series was renewed for its fourth season while season three was still being aired. This was just months after executive producer Gloria Prichett commented about the series ending after another season or so. "We're at the end of filming season three, so at this point, Jesse [Armstrong] is saying only one more. But that happens every time. We've got a good end in sight", she said in The Times interview.

But, even with the show's renewal, there's no release date scheduled for the next season yet. We already know that the filming for the new season will start at the end of June 2022. This was confirmed by Alan Ruck, who plays Connor Roy, the eldest Roy child. If there are no production delays, it's expected that the new season will be released around the end of 2022 or in early 2023.

Finally, let's see what Succession questions we desperately need the show to answer in its fourth season!

Why Did Tom Betray His Wife?

Shiv and Tom's marriage

Succession season four is expected to continue from where season three finished. Logan Roy was considering an offer from Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård) to buy Waystar RoyCo. While Roy's children were trying to prevent this from happening, they were all betrayed by Shiv's husband, Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Macfadyen). After he tipped off what Shiv, Roman, and Kendall were trying to do to Logan, we need to understand his motivations to help Logan.

Did Logan offer him a better position after the sale of the company? It was a malefic plan made by him and cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun) after the team up in Caroline's marriage? We cannot wait for the new season to tell us more about Tom's deception.

What's the Future of Waystar Royco?

Most of season three was centered around the negotiation between the Roy company and streaming giant GoJo. First, the Roys intended to buy the streaming company, but in the last chapter, the game was changed, and GoJo was about to buy Waystar RoyCo.

But will Logan actually sell the work of his life just to deprive his children of having control of the company? What will the Roy children do to survive after the sale of the family company? And lastly, where will the drama be centered if there's nothing to dispute in the family?

What Will Connor Do?

While Kendall, Roman, and Shiv are fighting for the succession, working in the family company, Connor Roy is only orbiting them. The eldest brother is never a part of their fights. He is mainly focused on activities that are really curious in that business environment: having a farm, financing theater plays, and, why not, running for president.

So, is it impossible to watch Succession without asking what Connor's next endeavor is? What will he do without the company money? Will he get married to his reluctant fiancée Willa (Justine Lupe) or join the dispute of his siblings for his father's position at the company?

Connor has, perhaps, one of the funniest storylines of the show, and the fact that he is such a part of the family drama is the main reason for that. So, let's wait and see the new crazy ride that awaits him.
