Rachel Boston has landed the lead and Amy Yasbeck has been cast as a co-lead on ABC's untitled Ric Swartzlander comedy pilot. The show is set in a chaotic Phoenix TV newsroom; Boston will play a rising star at the station who was recently promoted to executive producer of all news programs, while Yasbeck will play a co-anchor, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Gregory Itzin has been tapped for co-starring roles on ABC's comedy pilot Nice Girls Don't Get the Corner Office; it centers on the struggles of a "nice girl" trying to make it in the corporate world. Itzin will play an alpha male boss and adrenaline junkie.

Ray Wise is set for The CW's one-hour pilot The Reaper, a comedic drama about a 21-year-old slacker who becomes the devil's (Wise) bounty hunter.

Domenick Lombardozzi has joined CBS' drama pilot The Man. The show centers on an undercover cop (LL Cool J) and single father; Lombardozzi will play a member of the cop's team.

Brandon Quinn, Nick Gonzalez and Sarayu Rao have been cast in Fox's untitled Liz Meriwether comedy pilot; it revolves around sorority sisters (Molly Stanton, Dorian Brown, Lacey Chabert) dealing with life after college. Quinn will play an ex-frat boy with a fancy finance job who is romantically linked to Chabert's character; Gonzalez will play a writer who has the hots for Stanton's character. Rao will play an overachiever who has always listened to her parents.

Rade Serbedzija has joined CBS' drama pilot Twilight, which centers on a private investigator (Alex O'Laughlin) who is a vampire; Serbedzija will play an ancient vampire of European descent.

Cynthia Watros has come aboard CBS' comedy pilot The Rich Inner Life of Penelope Cloud. The show centers on a brilliant, opinionated writer (Marisa Tomei). Watros will play the writer's friend, a dancer and choreographer.
