Rachel McAdams has boarded director Anton Corbijn's A Most Wanted Man. Philip Seymour Hoffman is also attached to star.

The film is an adaptation of a John le Carré novel, which is set in present-day Hamburg, Germany. The story centers on a mysterious man who is near death, and looking to retrieve his late father's fortune. Philip Seymour Hoffman is playing a German spy chief who tries to determine the mystery man's identity. Rachel McAdams will portray a woman who gets caught up in the ordeal.

Anton Corbijn is directing with Gail Egan and Andrea Calderwood producing. Production is scheduled to start this September in Hamburg. We /rachel-mcadams-joins-about-time/reported earlier this month that the actress also joined About Time. That project starts shooting next month, so the actress will likely jump right from About Time to A Most Wanted Man.
