Randy Greenberg has bought the rights to Dr. Irene Kassorla's biography, Miracle at Springfield Hospital; Nancy Hendrickson will write the adaptation. Kassorla's daughter, Jackie Kassorla, will also co-produce.

The film will center on Kassorla's early career as the only female doctoral student at the U. of London's Institute of Psychiatry and her rehabilitation of a catatonic schizophrenic patient.Variety adds she went on to become a pioneer in the field of discussing psychology on TV along with becoming an author of self-help books. Kassorla was frequently mentioned as Monica Lewinsky's therapist during the Ken Starr investigations in the '90s.

No production schedule has been set for Miracle at Springfield Hospital.
