Two young stars of the comedy world will soon be seen opposite one another in a new film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rashida Jones and Chris Messina have signed on as the leads of Monogamy.

The film marks the scripted feature film debut of Murderball director Dana Adam Shapiro, who will direct from a script co-written by Evan Wiener.

The film will revolve around the trials and tribulations of a young couple's relationship, which was described as a "cautionary tale about sex, photography and fear of marriage."

Production has already started on the film in New York City and it was said that the film should be ready by early 2010 and will hit the festival circuit.
