Superman: The Flight: The next Superman flick has gotten an official title as you can see. Brett Ratner also, recently, revealed some info about the project during a BBC radio interview. Coming Soon got the scoop from a listener:

"He said that although an actor was being sought for the role of Clark Kent/ Superman, all the flying scenes would be done using a digital stunt double who would be filmed in various "super" poses situations and then have a digital "Superman" skin placed over him in the movie. A stuntman-bit player called Jackie Anderson is the guy Ratner named"

The Punisher: According to IGN Filmforce, previous rumors of NFL star Howie Long being cast as The Punisher have been debunked:

The report, which was posted at both Dark Horizons and Superhero Hype, says that commentators at ESPN claimed on-air that Long was in the running for the part. IGN FilmForce checked with their infallible source close to the production of The Punisher who advised us in no certain terms that "Howie Long is not the Punisher."

Our trusty insider advised us that the role of Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) HAS been cast and that an announcement is forthcoming. The actor who has been selected is "not a huge star, but known, very respected, and very good for the role."Thanks to 'Stax'

Starship Trooper 2:MovieHole talked with producer Jon Davidson about the possibility of a Starship Troopers sequel. Here's what he had to say:

"There MAY be a sequel to "Starship Troopers". If there is; it will be directed by Phil Tippett. It will be shot High Definition and go direct to DVD (at least in the US)". The male lead character has yet to be locked due to scheduling conflicts - "If it goes soon Clancy Brown won't be in it as he's busy with a series for HBO. If it goes in the summer or later, Clancy said he'd love to do it"

Jurassic Park 4 & Independence Day 2: Jeff Goldblum recently spoke with the Spanish magazine Cinemania about possible upcoming projects.

"Steven gave me strict instructions to stay available, because it's not entirely impossible that the services of my character will be required. I said what any sane actor would say to Steven: Yes, Mr. Spielberg. The second you need me to be measured for shoe size, don't hesitate to call, I'll be there".

His take on an ID4 sequel:

"I'd prefer to wait until I see the completed script first, but I don't know, I really don't. I liked the first one immensely, but I can't say if I'd do a sequel yet. It would depend on a number of factors. I don't kind of know what direction they plan on taking with it".

Thanks to DH for the scoop.

Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy: A scooper at Ain't it Cool chimed in this morning with some news on a possible adaptation to the best selling book. Here's what she had to say:

Last night, on BBC Radio 2, Douglas Adams' wife, Jane Belson, was being interviewed and she was asked about the film, she said that Karey Kirkpatrick (James and the Giant Peach and Chicken Run) had been working on a script with Douglas and that some producers had read it and liked it, and that the executive producers had read it and liked and it seems to have a green light. But that's all she could say, unfortunately with no more details.

Movie PictureThe Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King: Andy Serkis recently spoke with Cinescape about a scene cut fro The Two Towers that he hope to see make it in the final film:

"If I didn't know it was going to be in the third [film] I would be upset. You actually see me onscreen, which was going to be in this film, transforming into Gollum once he kills Deagol. You see this whole kind of descent into madness. You see him physically becoming more and more decrepit. [The] last stage is becoming the CG Gollum. Peter and Fran told me that wasn't going to be in this film. They thought it would play much better into the next one."

YOUNG FEMME FATALE - 12-13 years old female. Please submit Caucasian, Latina and Asian. Dark and spooky (both physically and spiritually); she carries a real air of mystery and intrigue. Young femme lives in the VR game where Juni must go to find Carmen and ultimately save the world. With her superior knowledge, she leads Juni through the stages of the game aiding him to advance to the next level and at the same time hindering him when he least expects it. Think an older version of the girl from "city of lost children". Must have a great face and amazin, unique presence...

LEAD VIRTUAL REALITY GAME BOYS 14-15 years old - these smart, tough boys live in the VR game and tag along with Juni in his endeavor. However, friend or foe is unclear but they're definitely spy kid material... GREAT SUPPORTING
