Ray Winstone is set to star in the black comedy Death of a Ladies' Man, says Production Weekly. The film will be directed by John Hillcoat and written by musician Nick Cave.

Winstone will play a traveling salesman living a seedy life along the south coast of England. When his wife commits suicide, he has no choice but to take his 9-year-old son on the road with him.

Filming will begin in October in London and the Southern coast of England.

Hillcoat, Cave and Winstone previously teamed on the Autsralian Western The Proposition, which is currently playing in theatres.
