Red Wagon producers Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher have recently acquired the film rights to the life of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt. According to Variety, Wick and Fisher will produce the biopic with Richard Blackstone, who represents DEI, and Bernie Cahill of Roar.

Earnhardt's widow, Teresa, and son Dale Jr. have both pledged to give their full cooperation on the biopic even though their relationship has recently become strained. Dale Earnhardt was killed in a crash in the last lap of the 2001 Daytona 500.

Red Wagon has not yet announced when they plan to start production on the untitled Dale Earnhardt biopic.
