Actress Renée Zellweger will put on her producing hat for a brand new project based on a novel. Variety is reporting that Zellweger will be producing the film Pillage.

The project will be based off the novel by New York socialite Brantly Martin, which centers on four best friends living in Manhattan who take a stand against their stagnant lives by going on a quest to find the perfect party in the downtown scene.

John Krokidas will be directing the film based off his own adapted script. It was said that the film was set to start shooting during the first half of next year, with shooting to take place in New York City.
