Ridley Scott has signed on to direct yet another project, a new political drama entitled Reykjvaik for Headline Pictures and Participant Media.

Kevin Hood is writing this drama, which is based on the 1980s meeting between American President Ronald Reagan and Russian president Mikhail Gorbachev, which lead to the end of the Cold War.

It isn't known when Ridley Scott will make time on his schedule for Reykjvaik. He's currently directing the sci-fi adventure Prometheus, and we also reported in March that Ridley Scott is attached to direct a biopic on Gertrude Bell. He is also directing Monopoly.

It isn't known which of these projects will be next for Ridley Scott.
