Peacock has released the official trailer for the upcoming documentary Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair. Set to premiere on the NBCUniversal streaming service on Dec. 26, 2022, the doc provides an in-depth look at the life and career of one of pro wrestling history's most revered performers. Flair is there to help guide the way in all-new interviews with others from the business who know him well, such as former rival Hulk Hogan and pro wrestling daughter Charlotte Flair. Myke Tyson, Post Malone, and Stephen A. Smith are among the others included.

You can watch the trailer below.

The official description for the new documentary is as follows:

16-time World Champion and 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is one of the most prolific and controversial superstars in professional wrestling history. Flair is a true American icon: from his famous “Woooo” that is still heard in stadiums and arenas throughout the US, to his influence on hip hop music. At 73 years-old Flair remains a constant in American pop culture, but who is the real man behind the outrageous persona? Finally, Flair reveals all, opening up about his storied career, inside and outside of the ring, over the last 50 years.

Per Horror Geek Life, Flair said of the new doc in a statement, “Many stories have been told about The Nature Boy over the past 50 years. I’m thrilled to have partnered with WWE and Peacock to produce the most accurate depiction of my life to date, and hope audiences enjoy the ride. Woooo!”

“Very few people have professional careers as storied as Ric Flair," adds Peacock's EVP of Unscripted Content, Rod Aissa. "We can’t wait to give Peacock audiences this revealing, in-depth, and often raw look into the life of one of sports and wrestling’s most controversial icons.”

Ric Flair
WWE

Ric Flair has long been a fan favorite in the pro wrestling business, as someone exceptionally skilled both in the ring and on the microphone. He is touted by WWE as a 16-time World Champion and is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer. While he intended to retire after his WrestleMania match against Shawn Michaels in 2008, Flair has continued to perform in the ring on occasion, having headlined a special event dubbed Ric Flair's Last Match earlier this year. Even at 73 years old, Flair seems at his happiest when he is in the ring, surrounded by his fans.

Woooooo! Becoming Ric Flair will premiere on Peacock on Dec. 26, 2022.
