Film producer Richard Gladstein and theater producer Daryl Roth are joining to produce Apologize, Apologize, a comedy drama about an eccentric New England family, based on Elizabeth Kelly's novel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project centers on Collie, a boy who grows up on Martha's Vineyard surrounded by a set of colorful characters, including an activist mother and a mogul grandfather. Kelly will adapt the screenplay from her book, which is set to come out next year from Jon Karp's Twelve imprint.
