CinemaNX have just agreed to back Richard Linklater's new coming-of-age romance, Me and Orson Welles. According to Variety, Marc Samuelson has signed on to produce the film for CinemaNX, alongside Linklater and Ann Carli.

Me and Orson Welles stars Zac Efron who plays a teenage student that stumbles into a minor role in Welles' Mercury Theater production of Julius Caesar. The rest of the cast includes Claire Danes and newcomer Christian McKay as Welles, along with Ben Chaplin, Kelly Reilly, Eddie Marsan, Leo Bill, Imogen Poots and Aidan McArdle.

Production for Me and Orson Welles is scheduled to start shooting late February on location in England and New York.
