Ridley Scott and writer Ken Nol (Black Hawk Down) are collaborating on The Company, a six-part miniseries based on Robert Littell's bestselling Cold War epic, reports Production Weekly.

The thriller following the lives of a group of CIA agents, is scheduled to begin filming in Toronto August 14 until September 22 and will then move to locations in Budapest and Puerto Rico.

A panoramic fictional treatment of the U.S. intelligence community from the dawn of the Cold War to the fall of the Soviet Union. It weaves real-life characters such as Kim Philby, Allen Dulles, James Jesus Angleton and John F. Kennedy into a story involving a group of CIA operatives and their counterparts in the KGB, MI6 and the Mossad.
