TNT and director Ridley Scott are teaming up to film The Company, a six-part miniseries to be broadcast on the cable network. Variety reports that the thriller is based on Robert Littell's best-selling Cold War novel and follows the lives of a group of CIA agents.

The project will be produced by Sony Pictures TV and Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, John Calley, David Zucker and Ken Nolan will executive produce. The project had originally been discussed as a theatrical feature film for Sony.

The miniseries will be broadcast on TNT in the summer of 2007.
