Ridley Scott, Giannina Facio and Colet Abedi have picked up rights to chef Marco Pierre White's 2010 memoir entitled The Devil In The Kitchen: Sex, Pain, Madness And The Making Of A Great Chef.

Marco Pierre White is a chain-smoking, pot-throwing rock-star chef that is a legend in the world of food. He is the first and youngest British chef to win three Michelin stars, which he gave back once he retired. His memoir gives us an account of his ascent from a working-class chef to becoming one of the best known chefs in the food industry. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the business including Mario Batali, Gordon Ramsay, Albert Roux, Raymond Blanc, Michael Caine and many more.

The producing trio will be working on the film together with Ridley Scott possibly directing. He is currently helming Exodus: Gods and Kings, which will be in theaters December 12th. No production schedule has been released.
