Our best look at Kylo Ren's reconstructed helmet has been revealed. The Licensing Expo is currently underway in Las Vegas and Disney unveiled a new poster for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which puts the focus directly on Ben Solo with his Lightsaber and reconstructed helmet. There is a lot of speculation about where the final movie in the Skywalker saga will take the young and often conflicted villain, with some believing he will be even more conflicted this time around.

Kylo Ren threw a temper tantrum in The Last Jedi after Supreme Leader Snoke insulted his helmet, which resulted in his mask being destroyed. However, now that he is the leader of the First Order, he has reconstructed the mask and it looks even more menacing than before. The fractures are held together with some red binding material that undoubtedly mirrors the villain's feelings going on within himself. Will we see Kylo Ren come back to being Ben Solo, almost like his hero did in Return of the Jedi?

There have been a lot of rumors swirling around Kylo Ren and the First Order over the past several months. Some Star Wars speculation sees the character going against the Knights of Ren, which may have been teased in the first trailer for The Rise of Skywalker. Again, this has not been confirmed, but one can easily see it happening, though J.J. Abrams may have some extra tricks up his sleeve, knowing full well that many fans are expecting him to cull from Return of the Jedi to finish everything off.

The Licensing Expo poster for The Rise of Skywalker is official and it shows the Star Wars villain alongside some of Disney's properties, old and new. Kylo is sandwiched in between Bo Peep from Toy Story 4 along with Captain Marvel, Iron Man, and Black Panther from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Mickey Mouse, Homer Simpson, and National Geographic are all represented too, showing just how much the studio has acquired over the years. It may seem like an odd place for all of them to be, but this is the way moving forward and the Disney+ streaming platform, which debuts in November, will solidify that.

The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters at the end of the year, which means we still have yet to see the promotional campaign kick into gear. We still have some more trailers and TV spots to look forward to, along with merchandising leaks. As for this summer, we could end up getting another trailer with D23 and San Diego Comic-Con on the horizon, or at the very least, a behind-the-scenes featurette. Regardless, Star Wars fans will take anything they can get right now as the wait for the final movie in the Skywalker saga is almost over.
