Roadside Attractions has nabbed North American rights to Michael Winterbottom and Mat Whitcross' political docudrama The Road to Guantanamo.

The film tells the true story of the Tipton Three, U.K. citizens who were imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for two years without any charges against them after traveling to a wedding in Pakistan.

The film, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which mixes interviews with the real prisoners and re-creations of their experience by actors, won the Silver Bear at this year's Berlin International Film Festival.
