Former nerd Robert Carradine has just landed the lead role in Clear Vision Studios upcoming feature Nano Dogs the Movie. According to Variety, the comedy will be a mix of live action and animation.

The plot revolves around nano-scientist Richard Spano and his twelve-year-old son, who accidentally feed their family dogs a special nano-solution. The dogs become the "talk" of the town when they gain the ability to speak and perform human duties. Their brainpower raises to telepathic levels. Of course, evil scientists decide they want them for their own nefarious plans.

The film is set to begin shooting in Phoenix, Arizona, sometime this summer.
