Robert Downey Jr. made the press rounds before he presented at The Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night, where he commented on the upcoming Marvel adventure The Avengers. Here's what he had to say when asked if it would be worth the wait to see this anticipated project:

"I think we're going to do something extraordinary. If we work really hard, I think we'll have something worth it."

The actor flew in from London, where he is filming Sherlock Holmes II, for his appearance at the awards show. He said that production is almost complete on the sequel:

"The funny thing is we're almost done shooting the second Sherlock movie, so we were just in London five seconds ago and we flew in to do this. We have like three more weeks of shooting."
