Warner Bros. has acquired a pitch from Team Downey producers Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey and writer Derek Connolly for the supernatural horror comedy Cloaked.

No plot details were released, although the story is said to be in a similar vein as An American Werewolf in London, using the same balanced approach with a mix of horror and comedy. The pitch is based on an idea by Robert Downey Jr., who developed the story with Susan Downey and Derek Connolly before bringing it to Warner Bros.

Derek Connolly will write the script, with Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey set to produce, although it isn't known if Robert Downey Jr. plans on starring in the feature as well. Team Downey's Amanda Burrell will oversee the project with Warner Bros.' executives Cate Adams and Jon Burg.

After his screenwriting debut with Safety Not Guaranteed, Derek Connolly moved on to write Jurassic World for Universal, along with Colin Trevorrow, and Paramount's Monster Trucks, both of which are currently in production. Robert Downey Jr. is currently shooting Avengers: Age of Ultron, and he will next be seen in Warner Bros.' The Judge.
