With Comic-Con 2012 right around the corner, it's probably no coincidence that MGM thought now would be a good time to launch the viral campaign for director José Padilha's RoboCop remake. To visit the official OmniCorp website (manufacture of RoboCop) in support of the film: CLICK HERE

As you can see, access to OmniCorp's projects, programs, and progress is being denied, but this site does offer a first look at the new ED-209, along with a sneak peek at the XT-908 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, and a shoulder's glimpse of the new RoboCop himself, RC-2000 (Joel Kinnaman). We have a photo of RC-2000's upper left torso, as well as an advert for the "battlefield tested" ED-209, and the XT-908 for you to check out here. We also have the OmniCorp 'Solutions for Your Life' video, which shows ED-209 and XT-908 in action, along with a few bits and pieces of Robocop himself.

While RoboCop's presence in San Diego for Comic-Con 2012 has yet to be confirmed, it's likely that more from this viral campaign will be revealed as the event gets underway. Will we see RC-2000 before the end of next week? It's a possibility!
