Roger Michell will no longer be the director of the next Bond film.

He was in talks to helm Bond 22 (tentitive name), however, the negotiations have fallen through due to "creative differences" according to Vareity and people close to the talks.

The film will directly follow Casino Royale, which Sony is releasing in November; both films will star Daniel Craig. Bond 22 has a release date of May 2, 2008.
