If you're wondering when the next Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer might drop, July is a pretty good guest. It has been announced today that Lucasfilm boss Kathleen Kennedy and Rogue One director Gareth Edwards will attend Star Wars Celebration 2016, which happens in Europe this July. Other special guests are promised, but at this time, no one from the cast has been confirmed. Here's what the official PR from Lucasfilm states.

"The president of Lucasfilm will be joined by the director of Rogue One and special guests for an opening day event at the massive fan gathering this July. "Secret mission? What plans? What are you talking about?" Find out, when Gareth Edwards, director of the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, joins Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and some special guests for a Rogue One panel at Celebration Europe on July 15th for what is sure to be a can't-miss event!"

You can visit StarWarsCelebration.com for tickets, and check back closer to the show for queuing and wristband details. This news follows the big Star Wars Day announcement from earlier this month that Lucasfilm has found a home for the big Celebration happening in 2017. The rendezvous point is set for Orlando, Florida, running April 13-16, 2017, at the Orange County Convention Center! Tickets for that event, including 4-day, single-day, and VIP, are scheduled to go on sale Wednesday, May 25, at 12:00 p.m. PT/3:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. GMT at StarWarsCelebration.com. Said Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm.

"Star Wars Celebration has always been about the fans. It allows Lucasfilm to connect directly with the thousands of fans who have given their dedication and support to the world of Star Wars over the years, and is the perfect opportunity for us to give something back."

Guest and event announcements for Star Wars Celebration 2017 in Orlando will begin soon at StarWarsCelebration.com and StarWars.com. This year's Star Wars Celebration is taking place at London's ExCel Centre, July 15-17. While next year's Star Wars Celebration will be all about Star Wars: Episode VIII, this year's big event will have Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as it's centerpiece. And it is expected that we will see the second trailer at that time.

Last year's big Star Wars Celebration took place in the home of Disneyland, Anaheim, California. Over 50,000 descended up the event for an exclusive look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens. A brand new trailer was shown to a sold-out crowd, and the event welcomed such iconic Star Wars stars as Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford. Much of the event was live streamed so those unable to make it to Anaheim could watch along. There's no telling what kind of surprises are in store for this July and Next April. So stay tuned as more details break over the next year. And May the Froce be with you!
