Earlier this week, LucasFilm announced that they will be hosting a live-streamed Q&A event with the cast and crew of Rogue One on Friday, December 2. Director Gareth Edwards, Lucasfilm President and Producer Kathleen Kennedy, and cast members including Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk and Riz Ahmed. You can watch the whole video below, with the Q&A and the new footage from this highly-anticipated Star Wars spin-off.

The Q&A will be hosted by People's Deputy Editor, JD Heyman. Fans can submit questions on Twitter for the cast to answer during the event by Tweeting with #AskRogueOne. Fans can also Tweet with the following hashtags and a Star Wars Twitter emoji will automatically appear: #RogueOne, #DeathStar, #StarWars and #StarWarsRogueOne. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters exactly two weeks from today, on Friday, December 16, and it is already shaping up to be another box office blockbuster, especially after pre-sale ticket sales were so big that the demand crashed sites such as Fandango.

Box office analysts are predicting that Rogue One will pull in $130 million during its opening weekend, going up against Warner Bros.' Collateral Beauty, starring Will Smith, Helen Mirren and Edward Norton. Given the demand for advanced tickets, it's certainly possible that Rogue One could surpass this prediction, but it seems unlikely that it will come anywhere near the record debut of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which earned a whopping $247.9 million when it hit theaters last December. That movie would go on to make a record $936.6 million domestically, but its $2.068 billion worldwide take still fell quite short of the all-time global record of $2.7 billion by Avatar.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire's ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
