Rogue Pictures has bought the rights to turn the Atari video game, Driver into a feature film, being written and directed by Roger Avary.

Variety reports the flick centers around a getaway driver for hire, the best in the heist bizbiz, who is put to the test on a job.

This will be the second video game-based film for Avary; he just finished working on the the film, Silent Hill for TriStar Films.

Driver has no production schedule as of yet.
