Actors Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor have joined the supernatural thriller The Conjuring for New Line Cinema and director James Wan. We reported last week that Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson signed on to star.

The story centers on a husband and wife team of demonologists (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) who investigate a Rhode Island farmhouse. Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor will play the husband and wife who move into the farmhouse with their children, and encounter a number of evil spirits.

James Wan is directing The Conjuring from a screenplay by Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes. The script is based on the true story of the Perron family, and paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, from the 1970s.

Production is scheduled to begin this March in North Carolina.
