Coldwater: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ron Perlman isn't done with hell quite yet. The star of Sony Pictures/Revolution Studios' Hellboy has been cast as the leader of a detention center for juvenile delinquents in the upcoming indie feature Coldwater.
To be helmed by music video director Sean Michael Beyer, the film is described as a fictional story based on the reality of juvenile boot camps, where the punishment is often much greater than the crime.
Perlman will play the charming but sadistic ranch leader, "The Colonel" Morris Timberland, in the indie drama, which was written by Mark Penney and Vincent Grashaw. "Coldwater" is being produced by Steve Eggleston, Valerie McCaffrey and Peter Rafelson.
Filming is scheduled to begin June 1 in rural Northern California.
