I was able to speak with Sons of Anarchy star Ron Perlman at a Hollywood event promoting Season 3 of the series and the Sons of Anarchy: Season 2 DVD and Blu-ray sets, which arrive on August 31. Ron Perlman also gave us some updates on some highly-anticipated film projects. Unfortunately for fans of Bubba Ho-Tep, the sequel Bubba Nosferatu: Curse of the She-Vampires, where Ron Perlman would play Elvis Presley's manager Colonel Tom Parker, doesn't seem to be moving forward anytime soon. Take a look at what he had to say below:

"There is no movement on Bubba. I have Season of the Witch coming out over Christmas. I have Bunraku opening at the Toronto Film Festival and Conan probably next summer."

No concrete release date plans for Season of the Witch or Conan had previously been announced, so we'll see if these dates hold up in the near future.

Ron Perlman was also asked about any plans for Hellboy 3 and, much like Bubba Nosferatu: Curse of the She-Vampires, it doesn't seem to be happening... although he does tell us what we can do if we want the film to move forward:

"Not that I know of, but the world is full of surprises. Write your Congressman."

We'll be sure to keep you posted with any further updates on Bubba Nosferatu: Curse of the She-Vampires or Hellboy 3 as soon as we have more information.
