Just as Due Date was a muffled remake of Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Ron Underwood's (The Adventures Of Pluto Nash) next project Woodchucks will be a revisionist take on the now classic 2001 snow bound comedy Out Cold (which sadly failed to make stars of Zach Galifianakis and David Koechner at the time of its release).

Yes, folks, we're at a time in cinema when people are remaking Out Cold! Which was a take-off on Hot Dog: The Movie, so even that wasn't original. Woodchucks follows the members of a Vermont ski team who try to keep their mountain out of the hands of a corporate resort take over.

This is what Ron Underwood had to say about the upcoming dramatic comedy.

"It's been a long time since Downhill Racer, and while Woodchucks is certainly a lighter tone, it has the makings of the first exciting narrative ski movie in a long time. I'm an avid skier and I can't wait to showcase the sport."

Principle photography is scheduled to begin this ski season in Vermont. Whoop-doo! (Fart noise!)
