Production designer Jo Ford explains how director David Michôd helped created an authentic Australian environment with our exclusive featurette for The Rover, which is currently available on Blu-ray and DVD through Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

The Rover is set 10 years after society has collapsed entirely, following a drifter (Guy Pearce) who forces a young man named Rey (Robert Pattinson) to track down the gang who stole his car, the leader of which happens to be Rey's brother. Watch as Jo Ford takes us through the desolate landscape The Rover was shot in, and how director David Michôd used local residents for extras in this apocalyptic drama.

Set in a world 10 years into the general collapse of society, The Rover follows hardened loner Eric (Guy Pearce) as he travels the desolate towns and roads of the outback. When a gang of thieves steals his car, they leave behind a wounded Rey (Robert Pattinson). Forcing Rey to help track the gang, Eric will go to any lengths to take back the one thing that still matters to him.
