Both The LA Times and Deadline New York are reporting that director Rubin Fleischer, who made his name well known with last fall's horror comedy hit Zombieland, is close to settling on his next project. The red-hot auteur is reportedly gearing up to direct Danny McBride in the comedy 30 Seconds or Less.

Written by Matthew Sullivan & Michael Diliberti, this highflying adventure will follow a pizza delivery driver on a very unlikely caper. Sony Pictures Entertainment will distribute the comedy for Ben Stiller's Red Hour Films. Fleischer was also reportedly eyeing Mission: Impossible IV as a possible project, but it is unlikely that he will be directing that reboot, which will star Tom Cruise.

Red Hour Films also produced Zombieland, and it is rumored that Fleischer will direct Zombieland 2 after he finishes work on 30 Seconds or Less. It is likely that McBride and Fleischer will shoot the comedy adventure this summer after Danny is done filming the second season of Eastbound & Down.
