Slipknot lead singer Corey Taylor is a part of the cast alongside Bobby C. King (The Card Counter), Cheyenna Lee, Alicia Taylor, Jessica Cameron, and Leona Britt in Rucker, directed by Amy Heskath.

The synopsis for Rucker reads: "For the past 30 years Rucker the trucker has devoted his life to traveling the road as a mass serial killer. When Maggie makes Rucker the subject of her documentary, their journey takes a dangerous detour when Rucker recruits her to complete his masterpiece: A connect-the-dots roadmap portrait of his ex-wife composed of the women he’s killed who resemble her."

"I actually worked with Aaron [Drane, co-writer for Rucker] a few years ago on a movie called Fear Clinic. He and I hit it off and he just thought I would be good for a little side role in this thing," Taylor previously told CBR about his casting. "So me and my wife flew up to Washington state and we just went with it. She ended up actually getting a role in the movie too, so they were just pulling us all in from all sides. It was literally a case of he hit me up and we had time and we just went for it."

Taylor's wife plays a role in the film, "She thought she did so horribly and she did such a great job. It was the first time she'd ever had to act or anything like that. We walked her through it -- man, she was fine, she killed. She's so good at everything that it's criminal. She still won't watch the movie. I'm like, 'We gotta at least watch it once!' She cringes at her own performance, and I'm just like, 'Well, I'm gonna watch it without you because I have to know. I have to see and make sure it's all good.'"

Corey Taylor Plays a Character Named Taco Tuesday in Rucker

"He's got some anger issues," Taylor, who's also written his own horror movie, adds of his character. "If you wanted to go method, that's the coolest way I could say that I put myself into the part. His name is Taco Tuesday. That nickname comes from an unfortunate issue at a restaurant. They stopped selling tacos and that set off a chain of events that led to him having to get some court-appointed therapy, so that is really where it's at."

Rucker is available on VOD, DVD, and Blu-ray on Feb. 4, 2022.
