Marvel Studios is definitely not resting on its recent laurels, bringing yet another one of their properties into production. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new studio will turn one of its newer properties, Runaways, into a feature film project.

The series was created in 2002 by Brian K. Vaughn and Adrian Alphona. Vaughn, who is also a writer for Lost, will write the big-screen adaptation.

The comic series revolved around a group of teens who discover that their parents are all super-villains. They form an alliance and try to discover the origin of their own passed-down super-powers while trying to stop their evil parents.

The series is still in the early stages of development, and no production schedule will be released for some time.
