Blood and Chocolate: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rupert Wainwright is fast becoming a staple at MGM. The Stigmata director has signed on to direct the werewolf fllm Blood and Chocolate.

He also is attached to direct the studio's big-screen adaptation of "The Outer Limits."

"Blood," which is based on the book by Annette Curtis Klause and set in a secret society of werewolves living in modern-day society. The story revolves around the romance between a female werewolf and a human.

Wainwright has been directing pilots, music videos and commercials and was in talks with a variety of studios on a number of feature projects following his strong performance with Stigmata, which opened at $18.1 million.
