Warner Bros. is banking on comedian Russell Brand for a new untitled film. Deadline Hollywood Daily is reporting that Warner Bros. has purchased an untitled pitch from William and Scott Bindley, which has Brand attached to star.

Brand will portray an eccentric soccer superstar who gets arrested in football-happy West Texas. The judge sentences him to a unique form of community service: he has to coach the pathetic high school soccer team.

No production schedule was announced for the film.
