Director James Gunn has been going to town the last couple of days, offering up plenty of new peeks behind the scenes of Guardians of the Galaxy as we speed towards the film's release next month. Today, he jumped on Instagram to share a look at the Sakaaran soldiers aboard their Necrocraft.

WARNING! MAJOR SPOILERS!!! Lie Ahead!

It should be noted that the Sakaaran soldiers were first introduced in the Planet Hulk storyline. This is interesting, as it was revealed yesterday that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will actually borrow heavily from that storyline instead of Marvel giving us a true Planet Hulk movie. In the Guardians sequel, Hulk has been shot into space, where he meets up with Star-Lord and his team. After Hulk becomes a gladiator to rule his own planet, the Guardians find a way to get him back to earth, catching the attention of Thanos along the way, and thus setting up a chance for all of the Marvel characters to meet in The Avengers 3. Which sounds like the blockbuster to end all blockbusters.
