Sam Rockwell, Toby Jones and Matthew Macfadyen are all set to star in Universal Pictures' Frost/Nixon. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ron Howard will direct the drama.

Based on a play, the film will revolve around a series of televised interviews that President Nixon did with David Frost in 1977. Those interviews ended with an admission of guilt regarding the President's role in the Watergate scandal.

Frank Langella and Michael Sheen will reprise their Broadway roles as Nixon and Frost, respectively. Rockwell will play award-winning journalist James Reston Jr., the head researcher who helped Frost prepare for the interviews.

No word on when this will go into production.
