Sam Worthington has taken the lead in Phillip Noyce's indie action thriller For The Dogs.
The film is based on a novel written by author Kevin Wignall and revolves around an assassin, who helps a young college girl get revenge on the people that murdered her parents and younger brother.
Phillip Noyce is directing from a screenplay by Oren Moverman. Sam Worthington, Anthony Rhulen, Navid McIlhargey, John and Michael Schwarz will be producing.
Sam Worthington most recently starred in Jonathan Liebesman's Wrath of the Titans and John Madden's The Debt.
