Winter Road Entertainment and Verlaux Media both are going different. According to Variety, the two companies have picked up the rights to the memoir Same Kind Of Different As Me, written by Ron Hall, Denver Moore and Lynn Vincent.

The Pursuit of Happyness executive producer Mark Clayman picked up the rights to the book.

The book, which was based on a true story, revolves around the unique relationship that was formed by a wealthy art dealer, who is struggling with his marriage and a a homeless man on the streets.

Clayman and Jennifer Gates are producing for Verlaux Media while Ralph Winter and Susan Zepeda are producing for Winter Road Entertainment. No production schedule has been announced.
