HBO Max will be ringing in the holidays with a raunchy animated comedy from Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman. Developed by the duo, Santa Inc. is an 8-episode series aimed for adults with plenty of foul language and sexual humor. The series is set to debut on Dec. 2 on the streamer, but you can take a look at what’s to come by watching the new trailer below.

Sarah Silverman voices an elf with Seth Rogen providing the voice of Santa Claus. Officially, the synopsis reads, “In this series from Seth Rogen and Sarah Silverman, intrepid elf Candy Smalls (Silverman) will do anything to be named as the first female Santa – even if she has to fight like a man to get it.”

Alexandra Rushfield is the showrunner of Santa Inc. Lionsgate Television and Point Grey Pictures are producing the project. Executive producers are Rushfield, Silverman, Rogen, Amy Zvi, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Joshua Fagen for Point Grey Pictures, as well as Rosa Tran, Seth Green, John Harvatine IV, Matthew Senreich, Eric Towner, and Chris Waters. Harry Chaskin directed the series.

In addition to Sarah Silverman and Seth Rogen, the voice cast includes Gabourey Sidibe as Goldie, an openly bisexual reindeer who is a member of the "B-team" of Santa's reindeer; Leslie Grossman as Cookie, a frazzled and loudmouthed gingerbread woman; Craig Robinson as Junior, the leader of the reindeer’s “A-team”; Nicholas Braun as Santa Inc's intern Devin; Maria Bamford as both Mrs. Claus and Candy's mother Big Candy; and Joel Kim Booster.

“Sarah and Seth are the perfect comedy duo for this empowering and very funny animated series shepherded by the hysterical Alexandra Rushfield," said Lionsgate Head of Scripted Development Scott Herbst when the animated comedy was first announced. "We look forward to diving into the world of animation with our Point Grey partners, and to bring the holidays to HBO Max in a totally unexpected and fresh way."
