While Tina Fey's spot-on impersonation of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin has bolstered Saturday Night Live's ratings, it seems the tables may be turned in a hilarious way. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Saturday Night Live executive producer Lorne Michaels said Sarah Palin will appear as Tina Fey on the late-night comedy hour, "all in due time."

While it remains unclear when this might happen it seems that Palin herself would be up for appearing as Fey.

"I love her, she's a hoot, and she's so talented," Palin said. "It would be fun to meet her, imitate her and keep on giving her new material."

Fey has appeared as Palin in first three episodes of the new season and the ratings have been skyrocketing up from last year. The show has averaged an 8.3 rating for the three episodes, which is up a whopping 49% from last year. Web traffic has been huge as well. 9.3 million people have watched Fey's first stint as Palin online and 7 million more viewed the Katie Couric interview as well.
