In a story from The Hollywood Reporter director Saul Dibb (The Duchess) will be directing the 19th century period piece, Spider Dance.

The film follows a woman from the US and the fun she has when she goes to Australia. She goes to a repressed part of Sydney with a lot of actors and celebrities. She creates a stir "with her uninhibited ways."

John Rhys-Davies has already been cast. The screenplay was written by Peter Sumner.

Spider Dance will begin shooting next year in Australia and Germany.
