Mark-Paul Gosselaar shared some interesting information about himself and the rest of the Saved by the Bell cast. Gosselaar admits that he hasn't spoken to co-star Dustin Diamond in 25 years and says that he and the rest of the cast don't receive any money for the show after all of these years. Gosselaar played Zack Morris on the hit sitcom from 1989 to 1993 and it has been in syndication ever since then, continuing to introduce younger audiences to the cast.

It's not much of a shock to hear that Mark-Paul Gosselaar isn't on speaking terms with Screech actor Dustin Diamond. However, it is a bit surprising to hear that they haven't seen each other in 25 years. When asked about the last time they spoke, Gosselaar said, "1994... It's the truth! I mean, I'm not making anything up." Diamond wrote a tell-all book about his time on Saved by the Bell with stories about his co-stars that may or may not be the full truth. Diamond has had pretty negative things to say about his time on the show in the last 25 years.

In addition to Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Dustin Diamond, the cast of Saved by the Bell included Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater), Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle), Tiffani Amber Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), and Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano). Many would believe that the cast has been getting some pretty decent checks from their work on the show over the years, but that isn't the case at all. Gosselaar had this to say about the Saved by the Bell money situation.

"We made really bad deals. Poor deals, back then. It is what it is. You move on, you learn."

While that all sounds like a pretty negative experience, Mark-Paul Gosselaar still looks back at his time on Saved by the Bell as a positive one. He admits to catching episodes from time to time, noting that it's like a "new experience" for him. But, his kids aren't really impressed with what they're 44-year old dad did in the late 80s and early 90s. Perhaps they'd be more interested in watching the Zack Morris is Trash YouTube series, which highlights all of the terrible things that Gosselaar's character did over the years.

The Saved by the Bell cast has reunited a few times over the years, minus Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies. One of the better times was on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in 2015, which even included Mr. Belding star Dennis Haskins. Diamond was unable to attend because of legal issues and Voorhies said that she had prior work commitments. However, for those fans hoping for a full reunion, that will probably never happen since most of the cast don't seem to be on friendly terms with Diamond.
